Our founders have been involved in educating students in nearly every educational arena: public schools, charter school, private schools, homeschools and homeschool co-ops. In each of these environments their educational philosophy and the application of that philosophy through curriculum and the classroom have guided students to successful graduation and post-secondary education.

This experience is fundamental to the educational mission at Northern Discovery Academy. Students at 

NDA experience a learning environment that not only meets state standards for graduates but also prepares them for a life of learning.

What Does NDA Provide for Our Graduates?

• NDA provides its graduates with a diploma which is legally certified by the state of Michigan and serves to represent their successful completion of all state requirements for graduation.
• NDA provides transcripts for each of its graduates when they apply for college admission. Over the years our graduates have successfully applied at state universities, community colleges and technical trade schools.

How Does NDA Prepare help Prepare Our Students for College Admissions and Scholarships?

• NDA provides opportunities for unique experiences that can bolster their profile for college admissions.
• NDA provides specific helps with college testing, such as the ACT.
• NDA provides opportunities for students to integrate local tech programs and employment partnerships in the trades.
